Job Summary:

The primary role of the Admitting Concierge is to facilitate patients through the Admitting process.

Essential Job Functions:

1) Serves as primary greeter to patients as they arrive to the Admitting area keeping in constant communication with them as they wait for services.

2) Reviews patient's orders to direct them to appropriate area maintaining a smooth flow of service in the waiting areas.

3) Conducts ongoing customer service training as needed.

4) Utilizes feedback to provide continued evaluation/improvement of the Admission process through customer surveys.

5) May assist with phones, making copies or other clerical functions as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior hospital Admitting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of billing and collections preferred.
• Experience in medical office or medical training program required.  
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
