The role you’ll contribute: The Clinical Nurse Manager Coordinates the total Nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary departments and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Oversees staffing, training, and is a liaison with physicians, hospital personnel and departments. Reports to Wound Care Director. Is responsible for establishing, Performance Improvement Initiatives, Chart reviews and audits. Coordinates the total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary departments and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: · Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing upon hire · Current Florida RN License upon hire ·2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role · Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida. If licensed in another state, verification of application for Florida licensure must be submitted within 30 days of hire date. · Board Certified in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Care (WOCN) or Certified as Hyperbaric Registerd Nurse (CHRN) or obtain either certification within 12 months of hire date. · BLS upon hire ·4 hours Hip and Knee Replacement education within 6 months of hire date, then annually ·2 hours Stroke education within 6 months of hire date, then 1 hour annually This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
