Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Video Producer is responsible for leading all aspects of physical production, from content creation to distribution. Additionally, the Producer will manage the editorial review process and ensure all deliverables are top quality and produced according to the proper specifications. 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Brainstorm, shoot, edit, and publish video content related to the Devils and Prudential Center
• Create engaging videos that appeal to new and existing fans
• Participate in on-location shoots, including but not limited to digital content and sponsorship
• Produce feature videos and regular hockey coverage for the Devils at home games and on the road
• Produce player-driven content for in-game experience
• Develop and manage regular video features
• Assists in all areas of video production, including script writing, location selection, directing, sound, lighting, filming and editing
• Producing shoots for 1-on-1 sit-down interviews
• Assist with shooting/direction of live stream web shows/content
• Keep a detailed and organized list of camera/sound/lighting equipment and their condition
• Maintain the digital library of all digital content.
• Help organize and maintain the video archive system
• Expand the programming for New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center platforms
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5-7 years’ experience in video production for a sports organization preferred

• Video editing experience (Adobe Premiere experience preferred)

• Experience in photography (including studio lighting) would be an asset

• Experience with content management systems

• Experience with motion graphics is a plus

• Experience using a NewTek TriCaster and switching live events

• High level of professionalism is crucial

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Travel Requirements: Must have the availability to travel for an entire NHL season , as well as work weekends and nights – trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.
• Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Work Environment: This position generally requires that work be performed from the Prudential Center/New Jersey Devils offices, but   attendance at events taking place in the arena or offsite, including on weekends and/or holidays, may be required.
