Bright Vision Technologies has an immediate opportunity for Sr COBOL/Mainframe Developer

Role: Sr COBOL / Mainframe Developer 
Location: Lincoln,NE – Onsite 
Duration: Long Term Contract

Basic qualifications for consideration :

• An associate’s degree in computer Programming or related discipline is required, but a Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in application development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Experience with  mainframe technologies mainly on COBOL  
• Experience with mainframe development languages such as COBOL .
• Experience with C programming 
• Experienced with source management tools including GIT or similar tools. 
• Agile and/or DevOps experience. 
• Financial industry interest and experience is beneficial
