Key Responsibilities:

• Handle and oversee assigned accounting and tax work with minimal supervision.
  
• Guide, mentor, and review work of lower-level personnel, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  
• Resolve routine and complex accounting and tax matters, serving as a resource for advanced solutions.
  
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines and budgets.
  
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations while applying current accounting principles.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in public accounting.
  
• CPA license preferred.
  
• Proficient in tax software, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.
  
• Strong critical thinking, professional judgment, and decision-making skills.
  
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to professional integrity.
  

Work Requirements:

• Occasional travel to client meetings or seminars using a personal vehicle.
  
• Flexible work-from-home options available.
  
• Expected overtime, especially during the January-April tax season.
