Our expertise spans traditional electrical contracting, security solutions, audio-visual integration, wireless networking, and building management systems. **Job Summary** **Sr.** **Project Accountant - Major Projects** **Position Summary:** TheSr.Project Accountant for Major Projects is responsible for managing project accounting operations and leading the project accounting team. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance throughout the lifecycle of large-scale data center projects. The Sr. Project Accountantreports to the Project Director andworksclosely with theSr.ProjectManagerandproject teams to provide critical job cost data, support forecasting, and maintain financial integrity. **Key Responsibilities:** **Financial Oversight & Reporting** + Lead project accounting team and oversee all accounting operations. + Provide job cost data for projections, forecasting, and month-end close. + Monitor project financials and facilitate ongoing reviews for cost savings. + Generate JDE reports and deliveraccuratefinancial data to project managers. **System Setup & Cost Management** + Set up projects in Salesforce/JDE andmaintaincost codes and budgets. + Align WBS structures with cost codes foraccuratereporting. + Manage budget adjustments and respond to coding inquiries. + Support payroll coding andassistwith general ledger concerns. **Change Orders, Purchase Orders & Billing** + Process and track Change Orders; update systems andmaintainaccurateSOV. + Create and adjust Purchase Orders in JDE based on project needs. + Prepare pay applications for GMP projects and ensure proper billing classifications. + Manage invoicing,lienwaivers, and accounts receivable through Textura. **Vendor & Compliance Management** + Set up andmaintainvendor/subcontractor documentation (W9s, COIs, credit apps). + Ensure OCIP compliance andsubmitmonthly reporting. + Address subcontractor compliance issues andmaintaininsurance renewals. + Participate in audits and provide required documentation. **Project Closeout & JV Responsibilities** + Facilitate final subcontract payments andaccountsreceivable collection. + Complete JV closeout tasks: banking, journal entries, financial statements. + Prepare year-end reports,1099s, and support audit reviews. + Archive project files and finalize OCIP reporting. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + 5+ years of project accounting experience, preferably in construction or major projects. + Proficiencyin JDE, Salesforce, and Textura. + Strong understanding of GMP billing and cost code management. + Excellent organizational and communication skills. **Benefits**   + Medical, Dental, and Prescription Drug Insurance (100% of the premium covered by Miller Electric...yep, seriously)  + 401k retirement and matching  + Life Insurance  + Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance  + Short & Long-Term Disability Insurance  + Flexible Spending Accounts  + Paid Vacation & Holidays  + Tuition Reimbursement Program  + Wellness Program  _Miller Electric Company is an Equal Opportunity employer - we believe that what is good for _ _humans,_ _ will naturally be good for business.
