Immediate full-time opening for a Residential Painting Sales Consultant in the greater Montgomery County and the surrounding area.

Lauro Painting is a well-established residential and commercial painting contractor who is now accepting applications for a Motivated, Organized, and Independent person that can work with our team to estimate and close Interior and Exterior Residential and Commercial Painting Projects. You will benefit from excellent lead flow that exist year round as a result of our 15 years of outstanding work in our area.

ABOUT THE JOB - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To create long lasting, raving fans of Lauro Painting.

This will include:

  • Following the Lauro Painting Sales Process

    • Qualify your leads to make sure they are a good fit for us

    • Building rapport by asking excellent questions and listening while caring about every prospect you see. We value people above the sale.

    • Creating trust and value through excellent customer service.

    • Provide profitable, accurate, detailed, and timely proposals and work orders.

    • Provide excellent follow up with every customer throughout the sales process.

  • Networking 

    • Create opportunities for long term and repeat business through networking and outreach.

    • Occasional community events.

    • Approximately 20% of your time. 

ABOUT YOU - TRAITS AND SKILLS NECESSARY FOR SUCCESS:

  • You Close Deals. You have the drive to sell $1.5 M per year

  • You enjoy the rewards of achieving a high sales volume and the compensation it brings.

  • You are able to see challenges and create solutions.

  • You are comfortable being on the road 90% of the day while performing 3-5 bids daily.

  • You demonstrate self-control and an ability to manage time and priorities.

  • You are comfortable working independently.

  • You treat others fairly, regardless of personal bias or beliefs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years Sales Experience (Required)

  • Painting or construction industry experience (Preferred)

  • Willing to dedicate 40-50 hours per week to this position

  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

  • Ability to pass a Background Check and Illegal Drug Test

  • Proficiency with cloud based technology, apps, and programs. 

SCHEDULE:

  • Monday-Friday

  • Typical hours are 8-5 with occasional weekend and evening appointments

  • Participation of occasional community events

COMPENSATION:

- Base salary plus commission.

- $75K 1st year income expected after training period.

- $100,000 annual compensation expected by the 2nd year
