Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish is seeking a:
Music Director – Full-Time
Job description:
Area of responsibility includes planning, preparing, and providing music for four weekend Masses –in Spanish and English as well as providing music for funerals and weddings, Holy Days of Obligation, Penance Services, and other liturgical events.
A qualified candidate possesses strong communication skills with a sensitivity to the cultural/worship experience of parishioners. This person must have the personality and the leadership skills that allow him/her to interrelate on various levels with a broad mix of people. The candidate must play the piano and the organ with proficiency. Our organ is a Rodgers Infinity Series 367 installed in 2022.
The candidate will keep current with official statements and documents on music and the liturgy.
