Job Description
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include taking vitals, rooming patients, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will also greet and chaperone patients during their visit, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience.
Responsibilities
+ Take and record patient vitals.
+ Room patients and prepare them for their visit.
+ Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
+ Greet and chaperone patients during their visit.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in medical assisting and phlebotomy.
+ Experience with electronic health records.
+ Strong understanding of medical terminology.
+ Competence in healthcare and patient care.
+ Ability to educate patients effectively.
+ Knowledge of internal medicine and pediatrics.
+ Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
+ Skilled in taking blood pressure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1-3 years of relevant experience.
+ Experience with medical records management.
Work Environment
Our clinic is located offsite from the Casino and features an onsite lab. You will be assigned to work with a medical doctor. We offer both virtual and in-person patient visits, catering to a diverse demographic including pediatrics. Patient appointments are scheduled at 20-minute intervals, with an average of 24 patients seen daily. Our work culture is very team-focused and family-oriented, emphasizing great patient care and outcomes. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
