The Role

We're looking for a Marketing Analyst who's laser-focused on turning raw marketing data into business-driving insights. If you geek out over attribution models, love tracking performance metrics like ROAS and CAC, and know your way around multiple acquisition channels you'll thrive in this role.

You'll work closely with our Online Marketing and Data teams to measure campaign effectiveness, own and maintain tracking infrastructure, and surface new growth opportunities. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and analytics: so comfort with data, storytelling, and fast-paced iteration is a must.

What You'll Do

Attribution, ROAS & CAC Analysis

• Own the development, iteration, and refinement of attribution models across platforms and campaigns.
  
• Analyze performance across paid channels (Meta, Google, etc.) to evaluate ROAS, CAC, LTV, and other key performance metrics, taking into account organic growth, and hard-to-attribute growth such as from our wholesale efforts, TV advertisements etc.
  
• Build and maintain dashboards and scorecards for weekly campaign performance tracking.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Digital Marketing & the CFO to guide marketing strategy.

Marketing Analytics & Reporting

• Design and deliver recurring and ad hoc analyses for acquisition, retention, and brand marketing.
  
• Identify trends, anomalies, and patterns across cohorts, creatives, channels, and customer segments.
  
• Collaborate with growth marketers to test hypotheses and measure results from A/B tests, creative strategies, and offer experiments.

Industry & Customer Insights

• Conduct market analysis to uncover insights on industry trends, positioning, pricing, messaging, and strategy.
  
• Collaborate with growth and product teams to design and evaluate data collection methods, including:
  
  • Customer surveys
  • Online polls
  • Post-purchase questionnaires
• Synthesize customer feedback with behavioral and transactional data to understand motivations, pain points, and loyalty drivers.
  
• Monitor the broader cannabis and e-commerce space to identify emerging opportunities or threats relevant to Mood's positioning.

Tracking Implementation & Data Integrity

• Partner with Engineering to define, implement, and validate tracking infrastructure (via Google Tag Manager, pixels, Rudderstack, server-side tracking, etc.).
  
• Manage conversion tracking across all paid channels and analytics platforms.
  
• Own UTM structure and governance to ensure clean campaign tracking and reporting consistency.
  
• Proactively QA tracking setups, audit funnel and event data, and flag or fix data discrepancies before they impact reporting.
  
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure end-to-end event tracking reliability.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

• Partner closely with growth marketers, creative leads, product managers, and finance to align on KPIs and business priorities.
  
• Translate data insights into actionable recommendations that influence campaign strategy and resource allocation.
  
• Present findings with clarity, confidence, and context, whether to technical peers or senior leadership.

What We're Looking For

Tools & Skills

• 5–10+ years of experience in a marketing analytics related role.
• Strong grasp of SQL (BigQuery preferred) and dashboarding tools (Looker Studio required; Tableau a plus).
• Demonstrated success analyzing marketing performance across multi-channel acquisition campaigns.
• Strong grasp of concepts like incrementality, MMM (media mix modeling), cohort analysis, and conversion funnels.
• E-commerce or DTC experience is a plus, especially if you've worked with subscription-based business models. 
• Strong understanding of digital marketing KPIs and the mechanics behind platform attribution models.
• Excellent communication skills—especially around data storytelling and stakeholder alignment.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset: you don't wait to be told what to analyze—you're already curious. 
• Master's Degree in Data Science or Statistics.
• Experience with conversion tracking setups using tools like Google Tag Manager, pixels, GA4, and marketing APIs a plus
• Experience with attribution platforms like Triplewhale or Workmagic a plus.
