Job Title: Mainframe Developer

The ideal candidate will work with a leading banking domain client, ensuring robust mainframe solutions that align with business needs and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: · Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM. · Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. · Perform enhancements, troubleshooting, and debugging of existing mainframe applications. · Optimize batch processing and online transactions for efficiency and performance. · Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions. · Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing. · Ensure compliance with banking regulations and security protocols. · Provide production support and resolve critical issues in a timely manner. · Document system designs, workflows, and operational procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications: · 9+ years of hands-on experience in mainframe development. · Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, and IMS. · Experience in the banking or financial services domain is required. · Proficiency in performance tuning, debugging, and batch processing. · Knowledge of mainframe modernization and migration strategies is a plus. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
