Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Hackensack, New Jersey, 07601

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Pay Rate: $2,702 Weekly Gross

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor & Delivery (L&D) team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum process. This role requires strong clinical judgment, patient advocacy, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and positive birth outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and assist physicians with all aspects of labor and delivery care.

  • Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on individualized patient needs.

  • Identify patient care priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

  • Develop and coordinate personalized care plans based on ongoing assessments and patient progress.

  • Initiate nursing assessments based on patient condition and physician orders.

  • Perform therapeutic interventions and manage patient care throughout labor and delivery.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and hospital standards.

  • Support evidence-based practices and continuous improvement in care delivery.

  • Provide compassionate, family-centered care consistent with professional nursing standards.

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and efficient patient outcomes.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Education
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)

Preferred Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Required Certifications & Licensure
  • Basic Life Support (BLS – AHA)

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

  • Active New Jersey RN License or Compact Multistate License

Preferred Certifications
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS – AHA)

  • Advanced AWHONN or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Certification
