Quality Technician
Location: Ada, MI
Shift: 1st/day shift
Pay: $19/hour
18+ month long contract with potential hire-in opportunity
Job Description:
- The sampling position would include sampling all raw material and packaging components in several warehouses.
- The raw material sampling would include materials that are used in the cosmetic and home care products as well as materials that are used in the food industry including allergens.
- The packaging components would be sampled in the warehouse and this would include inspecting the shipment for defective components.
- The materials that are sampled are logged in the QA data system where sampling data is entered.
- The samples are then delivered to the respective labs including micro, chemistry and packaging.
Job Requirements:
- A valid State of Michigan driver's license. Candidate will be driving around complex.
- Basic computer skills.
- Science background or science degree is preferred but not required.
