Job Description:

As a Junior Web and Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our internal web applications, supporting the technical infrastructure, and assisting with basic hardware and software troubleshooting. You will be working closely with our IT and development teams to deliver efficient, reliable solutions that enhance our operations and client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and MySQL.
• Collaborate with the development team to implement new features and resolve issues.
• Perform routine Linux server maintenance, including updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Assist with database management, optimizing MySQL queries, and ensuring data integrity.
• Provide basic support for Windows systems, including troubleshooting desktop issues and managing user accounts.
• Handle minor hardware support tasks, such as setting up workstations and troubleshooting printers.
• Work with the IT team to manage web hosting, DNS configurations, and server performance.
• Participate in testing and debugging processes to ensure high-quality application releases.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and version control using Git.

Requirements:

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred, but not a requirement.

• Experience :
  • 1+ years of experience in PHP web development.
  • Strong understanding of MySQL for database creation, queries, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with Linux server environments (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of Windows desktop support and hardware troubleshooting.
• Technical Skills :
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON.
  • Basic understanding of web hosting, domain management, and server configuration.
• Soft Skills :
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
