Cyberattacks come in many forms, from ransomware to theft of personal information.Ourprimary aim is to protect and preserve our capability for care by reducing our cybersecurity risk. We are seeking a motivated savvy individual, with ability to communicate, strong technical capabilities with critical thinking skills, team player and enthusiasm to learn in an inclusive and positive work environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity, healthcare operations, and project management. The cybersecurity interns report to the Office of the CISO. The intern will have opportunities to interact with all Cyber Security teams to gain insight into protection, defense, and risk processes, as well as specialized security tools. Based on organizational needs and keeping into account candidate's interest and strengths, when possible, the cyber security intern will contribute to activities like the following: + Cyber Security Power BI Dashboard implementation + Cybersecurity Roadmap and Cybersecurity Metrics Program + Definition and implementation of Cybersecurity Artificial Intelligence training environment + Development ofdefensive and offensive enhancements to increase organization security posture + Exposure to different security activities, i.e., participation in incident response training **Soft Skills** + Critical thinking, problem solving and ethical mindset. + Self-driven, passion for learning, excellent communication, and people skills + Organization, persistence, teamwork, flexibility, creativity, and outside-the-box thinking. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Education: Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate college or university program with a focus on healthcare or a related business field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. + Experience: 0 years's experience. + Licenses/Certifications: None **What's in it for you** At St. Luke's, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission - and this includes our own SLHS team.
