In this role, you will be responsible in contacting HCPs, Clinics by telephone to promote and sell goods and services, receive orders, gather information, verify details, and send the required details to the designated Distributor.
• Contact HCPs and Clinics by telephone to promote products, services to upsell and cross sell products.
• Sell products to the customers over the phone.
• Identity sales opportunities to meet the needs of specific customers.
• Solicit orders for goods and services over the telephone.
• Explain the product or service to potential customers.
• Provide pricing details.
• Handle customer queries.
• Record customer details including reaction to the product or service offered, and details for transaction.
• Receive orders over the telephone and pass on to the designated Distributors.
• Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet prospective customers where applicable.
• Conduct customer and marketing surveys (after appropriate approvals).
• Obtain contact details of potential customers from sources including telephone directories and purchased lists.
• Answer telephone calls from potential customers who are responding to advertisements (in-bound calls).
• Contact customers to follow up on initial interaction.
• Analyse sales data, identify customer buying pattern and utilize the insight to assist customers and internal team members based on their experiences.
• Completed Secondary Education
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in sales either over the phone or in person
• Understanding of Pharmaceutical products would be an advantage
• Understand fundamental sales principles
• Fluent in English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good influencing skills
• Demonstrate positive team dynamics through cooperation and networking
