Job Description

Stellar Coffee in Green River, WY is looking for a part time (25-35 hours per week on average) barista/ice cream scooper to join our team. We are located on 705 Uinta Drive. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable. Start at minimum wage plus tips with a chance to earn a $.25/hr raise after two months as well as quarterly bonuses.

This position is mainly for the Ice Cream Shop but occasionally the Drive Thru Position. Must be able to work 10am-9pm, normal shifts will be 2-3 of these a week. Must be available the whole shift, even when school in in session so looking for someone who has graduated or does online school.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold drinks, make food such as salads and sandwiches, and serve ice cream in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Work well with others in a fast paced environment, but also be able to work alone
• Must be available to work at least two weekends per month.

Qualifications

• No previous Barista experience needed, but must be willing and eager to learn
• Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours from 6am-10pm, including at least two weekends a month.
• Must be able to handle a fast paced work environment
• High integrity with a great attendance record
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively and work well with others as well as by yourself
• Must be a people person and able to be friendly with everyone
• Able to be on your feet for 5+ hours at at time
