Job Description

A couple living in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania looking to hire a professional Housekeeper.
Position: Housekeeper
Schedule: 10am – 6Pm or 9am – 5 PM ( they are flexible) , the require at least 2 hours on Sunday.
Salary: $35 per hour before taxes
Vacation: 2 Weeks  PTO, 6 major holidays paid off
Benefits: Health Insurance

The Ideal Candidate:They would like someone VERY organized and someone who enjoys organizing.  A typical day would be making beds, doing dishes, doing laundry, wiping down outdoor furniture, etc. The home is very well taken care of and immaculate.

What Works Best for Family: Husband and wife work a lot of hours and need a housekeeper daily to take care of the daily tasks that they can't get to. They would like the individual to wear a uniform- they will provide scrubs.

Current Staff: We had two housekeepers for 20 years (1 will be retiring)plus a lawn care/car man.

Position Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces. Duties include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Laundry & Linens: Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothing and household linens. Change and refresh bed linens regularly.
• Organization: Keep closets, cupboards, and storage spaces tidy and organized. Ensure items are returned to their proper places.
• Restocking Supplies: Monitor and replenish household cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essentials as needed.
• Meal Prep : Assist with light cooking or meal preparation as requested.
• Special Projects: Handle seasonal cleaning, window washing, or other deep-cleaning projects as required.

Position Requirements

• Languages: English
• Experience:5 Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Personality Traits: friendly, organized, someone who lives locally
• Must be willing to wear a unfirom
