What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Prepare hematologic flow cytometry reports for review by the hematopathologist
• Analyze and interpret data from flow cytometry testing to develop reports for pathologist sign-out
• Perform data entry and report writing with high accuracy, recognizing and resolving inconsistencies
• Provide consultation to clients and physicians regarding laboratory results and concerns
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulatory standards, ensuring quality in testing procedures

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Proficiency in technical flow cytometry and clinical hematology
• Experience in preparing and interpreting hematologic flow cytometry results
• Ability to assess normal samples and triage complex cases
• Strong communication skills for client consultation and internal collaboration
• Commitment to maintaining competency in high complexity laboratory testing

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in training and educating staff in hematologic flow cytometry
• Familiarity with laboratory instrument calibration and troubleshooting
• Involvement in evaluating and recommending new test methodologies and equipment
