Job Description

Here at the Griffin Memorial Hospital the Health Information Management Department is seeking a Health Information Coordinator to be responsible for the management of consumers medical information and related statistics in the hybrid (electronic and paper) health record and databases ensuring the accuracy, quality, accessibility, and security of medical data, while supervising the Human Information Management staff.
Job Type/Salary:

  • Annual Salary is $56,800/yr - $27.307692/hr
  • Primary Working Hours are M-F; 8-5
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
Education & Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience substituting one year of professional level experience for each year of the required education.
  • Preference given to applicants who possess at least three (3) years of experience in the Medical Records field.

About us:
Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH), located in Norman, Oklahoma, is a 120-bed acute psychiatric hospital serving adults (ages 18+) with severe mental illness. As part of the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS), GMH provides inpatient psychiatric care and substance abuse treatment to individuals from all 77 counties across the state.
