Position Title: Firefighter / Paramedic
Salary Information: $79,400-$111,724
Benefit Information:

All full-time personnel receive a monthly benefits package that covers the combined cost of Disability, Medical, Vision, Dental and Deferred Comp (retirement), and life insurance. All full-time personnel receive a monthly benefits package of $2,050.00 that covers the combined cost of Disability, Medical, Vision, Dental and Deferred Comp (retirement), and life insurance. LEOFF 2 retirement includes district and employee contributions.

High School Grad/GED: Yes
Valid State Driver's License: Yes, Washington
Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes
Vision: Candidates must possess sufficient visual acuity to perform the essential functions of the position safely and effectively. This includes the ability to read instruments, assess scenes, and operate vehicles and equipment. Corrective lenses or glasses may be worn to meet this requirement.
College: Only mandatory certifications are required, see requirements
Prior Experience: Documented fire service experience, minimum 1-year documented paramedic experience
Necessary Certifications

IFSAC/ProBoard Firefighter 1
NREMT Paramedic Certificate: Must obtain Washington Certification by date of hire
Possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Additional Requirements:

Must be able to pass background and driving record investigation
Medical evaluation including UA
CPAT required prior to being invited for an interview
Hiring Process:

EMS and Fire knowledge testing
