Field Service Engineer - JPC104

Pay: $40,000 - 120,000/year + Benefits

Industry: Plastic

Schedule: Monday - Friday

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer who will be responsible for machine start-up, repair services, and providing technical assistance at customer facilities to ensure satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting and repairing injection molding machines, as well as strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform machine start-up, repair services, and provide technical assistance at customer facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems, ensuring customer confidence in problem resolution.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic drawings to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
• Utilize hand tools and various hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical test equipment.
• Assess process parameters of injection molding to determine if issues are mold, material, or machine-related.

Qualifications:

• Must have field service experience or equivalent experience in troubleshooting and repair of injection molding machines.
• Must be a high school graduate with a two-year technical degree in electronics.
• Must be fully computer literate with experience in DOS, Windows, and data acquisition/diagnostics software.
• Must have a working knowledge of process parameters in injection molding.
