The Washington, DC office of a global powerhouse law firm is seeking a highly professional Legal Secretary to provide support to busy partners and associates. In addition to editing and finalizing legal documents, you will be relied upon to schedule client meetings, coordinate travel logistics, and maintain overall office organization to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage calendars, coordinate scheduling internal and external meetings, and prepare and review all necessary materials beforehand.
• Coordinate all aspects of domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, and itineraries.
• Screen and prioritize incoming communications, ensuring timely and efficient responses.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal staff and external clients.
• Maintain monthly financial reports and monitor team expenses.
• Collaborate with paralegals, attorneys, and other legal secretaries to ensure smooth workflow and day-to-day operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experienced. You have at least five (5) years of legal administrative experience, ideally supporting attorneys in a large law firm environment.
• Technologically skilled. You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other document management software programs. Strong typing skills are a must.
• Hardworking. You are dedicated, flexible, and go the extra mile for your team.
• Proactive. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, anticipate needs, and adapt quickly.
• Discreet. You handle confidential information with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
