Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates and proposals for a variety of inspection and quality assurance services, including NDE, boiler inspections, certified welding inspections, and other related services
Key Responsibilities: - Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to develop detailed cost estimates
- Prepare quotes and proposals for NDE services, boiler inspections, welding certifications and other quality services
- Communicate with clients to clarify project scopes, schedules and requirements.
- Coordinate with manager(s) to ensure all aspects of the services are accounted for in the estimate
- Analyze labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor costs, and other factors to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codes and regulations applicable to inspection services.
- Track and update estimates based on project changes and client feedback.
- Assist with bid presentations and support business development efforts.
- Complete all pre-qualifications for clients as requested.
- Coordinate with insurance broke for all awarded projects
- Coordinate with manager(s) on schedules and upcoming projects.
Qualifications: - Proven experience estimating in NDE, boiler inspections, welding inspections, and/or quality assurance services.
- Strong understanding of industry standards
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe and other platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working directly with power plants, industrial facilities, refineries, or fabrication shops.
- Knowledge of contract negotiation and project management principles.
