This position is Hybrid and eligible for telework up to four days a week and required to report to the office one day a week or as needed/required in accordance with F5CA’s Telework Policy. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Under the administrative direction of the Deputy Director of the Program Innovation and Evaluation Division, the Education Administrator I, is responsible for directing and supporting work of First 5 California’s (F5CA) Early Learning Programs and Partnerships Office (ELPPO) and Prevention, Equity, and Opportunity Office (PEOO), including direct supervision of the 3-6 Consultants and other staff responsible for developing systems and infrastructure and implementing programs related to early learning and care to meet agency goals.

This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment.
