Summary

SEEC is a new early childhood center that opened February 2023. There will be lots of room for growth as the center grows and expands within the growing community.

We are looking for a fun, energetic person to fill a part time teacher aide position. We are a small early childhood center offering childcare for children 12months to 6years old. This position is part time at the moment but has room for growth in all directions. You do not have to have any qualifications for this position. ECE experience is a plus. We will train you and lead you in the best direction we can to growth within our center. We are looking for teachers that are willing to grow with us and become a great asset for the future.

Duties

• Help lead teachers on curriculum plans
• Cleaning duties for classroom and center
• Creating positive and healthy interactions and relationships with young children throughout the day
• Creating positive and healthy relationships with parents and families
• Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
• A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• ECE experience is a plus
• High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents)
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
• Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
