District Manager – Full-Time Opportunities at Captain Jay’s!

Locations: Oversee multiple locations across Metro Detroit 

Captain Jay’s is searching for a strategic and experienced District Manager to lead and manage several of our locations throughout Metro Detroit. This role offers the chance to drive operational excellence and foster a high-performing team across multiple sites, with the goal of enhancing customer experiences and achieving business growth.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and support the operations of multiple store locations, ensuring adherence to Captain Jay’s high standards 

• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve performance and profitability across all locations 
• Monitor and manage P&L statements for each location, ensuring financial targets are met 
• Lead and mentor Store Managers, providing guidance on staff management, training, and development 
• Conduct regular site visits to assess store performance, cleanliness, and customer service standards 
• Analyze sales data and market trends to drive strategic decisions and operational improvements 
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures consistently across all locations 
• Foster a positive and productive work environment, ensuring high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction 
• Collaborate with the senior leadership team to set and achieve overall business goals 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Extensive experience in multi-unit food management (required) 
• Proven track record of driving sales and managing operational efficiency 
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and guide Store Managers 
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills 
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and drive business growth 
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred); advanced education in business management or related field is a plus 
• Valid Driver’s License (required) and willingness to travel between locations

Captain Jay’s Fish & Chicken is dedicated to bringing local neighborhoods the freshest fish and chicken in the market. With YOU BUY, WE FRY, we are distinguished from other institutions deemed as fast food. We offer a variety of grain foods, dairy products, vegetables, produce, fresh seafood, fresh shrimp, and fresh poultry in our markets. Our customers are able to purchase the freshest fish/shellfish and chicken available in any market and cook it with their families at home. For your convenience, Captain Jay’s Fish & Chicken also offers the service of frying your fresh poultry and seafood with an additional minimal cost. Our mission is to not only provide our customers with the freshest produce, poultry, and seafood but also offer different services and additional core products in our mini-mart in order to create a comprehensive experience that will ease the lives of our customers.
