Job Description

TITLE:  Digital Marketing Manager

CLIENT: Energy

LOCATION:  Houston, TX

TYPE: Contract (Hybrid)

PAY: $60-$70/hour DOE

 

Summary:

Our client in the Energy industry is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager. In this role, the Digital Marketing Manager will plan, coordinate, test, and execute digital paid advertising campaigns. In addition, the Digital Marketing Manager will manage the relationship with third-party agencies and work closely with in-house Digital, Marketing, and Business teams to effectively execute the paid media strategy to drive sales.

 

Duties:

  • Champion the development and execution of a robust paid media marketing strategy
  • Manage and report on paid digital advertising campaigns across all digital platforms (search, display, video, social media, and website).
  • Maintain and nurture the relationship with outside agencies to execute the paid digital strategy.
  • Sustain a targeted campaign to maximize ROI opportunities for each campaign and control campaign risks.
  • Manage campaign launches: keyword and ad copy creation, analytics, and tracking implementation.
  • Monitor campaign performance against goals, including search term reports, negative keyword lists, and keyword quality score audits.
  • Manage pacing, budgets, and overall platform allocations and offer proactive budget recommendations.
  • Perform daily optimization of all campaigns on Cost per Lead, and Monthly/Quarterly optimization on lower funnel KPIs.
  • Track conversion rates, cost per conversion (CPC), return on ad spend (ROAS), and cost of acquisition (COA) on various ongoing and new digital campaigns.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities in related channels and advertising platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Generate marketing performance reports and conduct campaign audits.
  • Manage, maintain, and update internal digital marketing tools (A/B Testing sheet, Audience List tracking, etc.).
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop campaign tracking codes and parameters.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ relevant work experience in digital marketing/media, digital advertising
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in key areas of Paid Search/SEM, Display Advertising, Video Advertising, and Social Media.
  • Experience in planning, creating, implementing, and analyzing marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of keyword search, online metrics, analysis, and ad delivery processes.
  • Well-versed in Paid Media planning and buying experience on major websites or networks.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to develop and deliver clear and persuasive presentations.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant focus.
