Dynamics NAV Senior Accountant | $80k - $90k Base Salary | Fully On-site (Bloomfield, New Jersey)

Brief Overview:

My Manufacturing client is seeking a Dynamics NAV Senior Accountant who will manage all accounting activities, ensure compliance, assist in budget preparation, and maintain fixed asset schedules. Key skills include 3-5 years of accounting experience, proficiency in Dynamics NAV, fluency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential for collaborating with various levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

* Review and manage all accounting related activity.
* Booking of accrual entries in the general ledger.
* Monthly review of operating results to ensure accurate recording of income and expenses - recording adjusting journal entries as needed.
* Explaining significant variances to budget in a monthly reporting format that is presented to management for review.
* Prepare and complete bank reconciliations.
* Monitor and report on monthly balance sheet activity and understand major changes in balances.
* Ability to monitor compliance.
* Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedule.
* Review P&L for proper coding of expenses, by department and region.
* Assist with the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget and forecast process.
* Prepare financial reports and variance analysis.
* Management of credit card expense software.
* Assist with annual financial audit preparation.
* Ad-hoc financial analysis and tasks.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* 4-8 years of Accounting Experience
* Working knowledge of forecasting (budget, trends, KPIs)
* Fluency in Microsoft Excel
* Knowledge of Inventory systems a plus
* Strong leadership skills as well as ability and desire to dive in and solve problems
* Excellent interpersonal skills and works well with all levels of the organization
* Excellent reporting and financial management skills
* Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
* Organized, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and expeditiously
* Must be fluent in Spanish and English.

Education Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
