Job Title: Commercial Construction Safety Manager

Location: 3 positions:

1. North Texas
2. South Texas
3. Prague, Oklahoma

Pay Range: $80K – $90K + *Based on experience (Negotiable)

Length on Assignment: Permanent assignment, Performance Based

Shift: 1st Shift

Number of Openings: (3)

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Commercial Construction Safety Manager for 3 different projects (North Texas, South Texas and Prague, Oklahoma). As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating compliance with occupational health and safety (OSHA) guidelines. Your main goal will be to always ensure a safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents.

Safety Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify potential safety hazards and risks.

2. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

3. Provide training to construction workers and contractors on proper safety protocols and procedures.

4. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine the root cause and implement corrective actions.

5. Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to address safety concerns and make recommendations for improvement.

6. Stay current on industry trends and regulations to provide up-to-date guidance and support to project teams.

7. Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes

8. Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management.

· In-depth knowledge of OSHA guidelines and practices

· Excellent knowledge of legislations and procedures

· Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices

· 5 years + of experience in producing reports

· Experience in reporting and developing policies

· Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics

· Experience in implementing OSHA training programs

· Proficient in MS Office

· Working knowledge of safety management information system

· Outstanding organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

· Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

· Team player

· Good time-management skills

· Great interpersonal and communication skills

· BS/BA in safety management or similar field, with 3 years of field exp. in Safety. (Preferred, not required.)

 · Certifications in occupational health and safety, dated within 5 years.

· Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation preferred.

· Fall protection, scaffolds, excavation, confined space, crane/equipment operations, electrical, incident investigation, and other such safety/health related training.

· Specialized training for Emergency First Aid, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) current to within 2 years. 

· OSHA 500. (Preferred, not required.)
