Job Title: Civil Project Engineer
Location: Earth, Texas

Type: Contract
Compensation: $90.00 - $92.00 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid
Per diem provided for non-local candidates

System One is currently seeking a  Civil Project Engineer on a 12 month contract position located in Earth, TX. 

Civil Engineer Responsibilities: 

• Oversee and contribute to large-scale wind projects. 
• Responsible for providing civil expertise, with a focus on evaluating project drawings and handling requests for information (RFIs) across multiple projects, 
• Will focus on collaborating with other engineers and project stakeholders to ensure all requirements are clearly outlined. 
• Evaluate drawings, studies, and analyses.
• Review the technical documentation to confirm that everything aligns with the project specifications and requirements. 
• Variances to the company's master specifications will need to be communicated internally for approvals by the engineer. 
• For construction activities, the day will be more in-person, assisting team members by addressing any civil engineering-related questions they may have about the project. This could include clarifying details about the design or construction process and troubleshooting any issues that arise on-site.
• Overall responsibilities will vary from planning/reviewing to providing direct support during the construction.
• Work with our other engineers on the project to be able to understand/interpret design drawings and managing the compliance of the construction to the design drawings and managing RFI requests. 

Civil Engineer Requirements:

• Familiarity with ProjectWise, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Procore preferred. 
• SAP a plus.
• 9+ years of civil engineering experience with 2-3 years specifically in the renewable generation project space (construction or engineering design).
• Bachelors degree for an ABET accredited school or strong/commensurate experience. 
• Knowledge of/familiarity with NCRs, RFIs and the ability to understand and manage the scope of a contract.
