Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemist specializing in organic synthesis to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and conducting complex chemical experiments with a focus on organic compounds. A Master's or Ph.D. in Chemistry is preferred, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a research or industrial setting. This role demands a deep understanding of experimental design, formulation chemistry, and analytical techniques, with additional expertise in biochemistry lending a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute organic synthesis projects, optimizing processes and methodologies for the development of novel compounds.
  • Design experiments using experimental design software, such as Design Expert, to systematically explore chemical reactions and process optimizations.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses using advanced analytical techniques.
  • Develop and formulate chemical products, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance research objectives and product development.
  • Maintain detailed records of experiments, analyses, and outcomes for internal review and external publication.
  • Stay abreast of scientific literature and advancements in organic chemistry, biochemistry, and related fields.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, with a focus on organic synthesis; candidates with a Bachelor's degree and exceptional experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in organic chemistry research or product development.
  • Proficiency in experimental design software and formulation chemistry.
  • Familiarity with DNA, RNA, enzyme, antibody, and antigen chemistry is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with chromatography, spectrometry, and other analytical techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Experience working in a wet lab environment is essential.
