Anderson Reserve in Sweet, ID is looking for one chef de cuisine to join our 14 person strong team. We are located on 7275 Sweet Ola Hwy. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, individually motivated, punctual, respectful and hard-working.
A chef de cuisine is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen's operations. Some of the key job responsibilities include.
1.) Menu planning: Assisting the Executive Chef in developing menus that are both innovative and profitable, while taking into account customer preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal ingredients.
2.) Food preparation: Overseeing the preparation of all dishes, ensuring that they are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
3.) Kitchen Management: Assisting the Executive Chef in managing a team of cooks, ensuring that they are properly trained, motivated, and working efficiently to meet the demands of the restaurant.
4.) Inventory management: Ensuring that the kitchen is properly stocked with all necessary ingredients, and that inventory is properly managed to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
5.) Health and safety compliance: Ensuring that the kitchen is compliant with all health and safety regulations, and that proper procedures are in place for handling food and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
6.) Customer service: Interacting with customers to ensure that their dining experience is enjoyable and meets their expectations.
Overall, Chef De Cuisine of Anderson Reserve must be a skilled and experienced chef, as well as an effective manager and leader who can oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
