Position Title: SAP Business Analyst

Position Location: 1 South Main Street, New Bremen, OH 45869

Hybrid - Onsite Wednesday and Thursday of every week.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM 

Summary of Duties: Support, analyze and evaluate existing business processes and master data across multiple business process areas. Translate business requirements into technical specifications to meet business requirements. Study software capabilities and recommend best practices to achieve optimum results. Understand current and future business processes and how they interact with different areas of Company’s ERP system (Crown 360) solution as well as its data. Gather master data elements associated with business processes, analyze and document business processes and procedures, define user requirements and issues to devise best practices. Work with users to achieve standardized business processes across corporation. Analyze business cases to measure adherence to standardized practices, including inputs required for entire process, and data governance standards. Work closely with Process Owners to transform business requirements into technical requirements. Work with business to support business needs and resolve issues. Create proof of concepts and configure system to support business requirements. Create necessary documentation. Work closely with Development and Data Governance Teams to ensure understanding of business requirements and practices. Coordinate creation or modification of business process (e.g. Interfaces) with cross-team involvement. Develop, perform and document test results. Manage system testing to ensure procedures are thoroughly tested, including cross-functional areas, before releasing to production. Submit test result reports to be used for final user acceptance. Review data validation results with global business leaders. Provide training and knowledge transfer to users to support efficient use of new business processes.

Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 2 years of experience as an SAP Business Analyst, Data Analyst, SAP Analyst Intern, or related role.

Alternative Education and Experience Requirements: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 6 months of experience as an SAP Business Analyst, Data Analyst, SAP Analyst Intern, or related role.

Special Skills or Other Requirements: Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:

1) 2 years of experience of experience with IT Project Management;

2) 2 years of program language functional experience (SQL, Python, others);

3) 2 years of Cloud computing tools functional experience;

4) 2 years of Master Database functional experience;

5) 2 years of Process framework experience (Agile, others);

6) SAP ECC functional experience; and

7) SAP S/4 HANA functional experience.

Any and all experience may be gained concurrently. For skills #1-5 employer will accept any amount of experience when qualifying with a Master’s degree.
