Job Title: Electrical Inspector

We are seeking experienced Electrical Inspectors to join our team for the Building Condition Assessment Survey (BCAS).

Inspectors will be responsible for assessing the condition of school buildings in the 5 boroughs.

This role involves 100% field work, with all data documented on an iPad. The position includes three weeks of training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building condition assessment inspections
• Inspect HVAC equipment
• Document findings using an iPad
• Work collaboratively with a team of four inspectors
• Perform site surveys throughout NYC.
  
  

Must Haves

• Building condition assessment inspections (including HVAC equipment)
• 5+ years of electrical inspection experience and surveying
• Institutional or K-12 project experience
  
  

Contract position: Duration: 9 months

Work Site

Fully on-site position in New York, New York with 100% travel

Work Environment

• Work period: September through Memorial Day Weekend
• No evaluation or inspection for the presence of asbestos
• Opportunity for year-over-year return with Option to take summers off or freelance
  
  

Team Structure

• 7 inspection teams at the start of the project
• Each team includes an experienced Architect, Associate Architect, Mechanical Engineer, and Electrical Engineer
• Candidates must be team players and dependable for field work
