Morton County Lower Heart Water Resource District Board is responsible for making decisions on issues involving the upkeep and improvements to the Levee System protecting Mandan from Heart River Flooding, also on the upkeep and improvements to the interior drainage system. The Morton County Lower Heart Water Recourses District meets the second Thursday of each month.
Any qualified elector of the Morton County Lower Heart Water Resource District is eligible for appointment. Two appointments are 3-year terms expiring 12/31/2028 and One appointment is for and expired appointment expiring 12/31/2026. Deadline for applications is December 22, 2025
