Position Objective: As a crucial member of our neighborhood bar, you will embody the core of our bar's service standards and atmosphere, as established by our Bar Manager. You will uphold the standard of hospitality synonymous with Land and Sea Dept. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Hospitality First: Set the tone with a warm, welcoming vibe, making every guest feel like a regular. Provide consistent, high-quality service to every guest, creating a welcoming environment that reflects the warmth and community of the Andersonville neighborhood. Meticulous Attention to Detail: Consistently ensure every aspect of bar service, from ingredient preparation to presentation, meets our high standards. This requires strong organizational skills, efficiency, and an acute awareness of time management. Opening Responsibilities: Execute all opening procedures precicely, ensuring the bar is fully operational and prepared for service. This includes setting up bar wells, ensuring cleanliness, preparing mise en place, and conducting equipment checks. Maintain Workspaces: Throughout your shift, continuously maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar space. This includes adherence to strict sanitation guidelines and constant attention to restocking and organizing tools, glassware, and ingredients. Beverage Execution: Create and serve cocktails according to exact specifications, ensuring consistency and quality with every order. You are expected to uphold the integrity of our beverage program by mastering the recipes and techniques involved in each drink. Product Quality Control: Regularly check the quality and freshness of all bar ingredients, including juices, syrups, and produce, to ensure they meet the standards of excellence our guests expect. Bar Ambassador: Act as an informed representative of the bar, knowing the history, menu, and philosophy behind our space. You should be able to engage guests meaningfully, sharing knowledge about our offerings and creating a connection with the community.
