We are on the lookout for a trailblazing Audio Engineer that has passion and desire to make an impact in our ever evolving and fast-paced organization. This position will oversee the audio needs for our church’s services, events, and productions. The ideal candidate will have experience in live sound engineering and the ability to work well under pressure in an exhilarating and inspiring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Operate and maintain audio equipment during worship services, rehearsals, and special events.
● Set up, test, and adjust audio systems to ensure high-quality sound for both live and recorded media.
● Collaborate with worship leaders, musicians, and technical teams to achieve optimal sound quality.
● Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues quickly and efficiently.
● Conduct regular maintenance and inventory of audio equipment.
● Assist with the planning and execution of audio needs for special events andproductions.
● Stay updated and self-educated on the latest audio technologies and trends.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as an Audio Engineer, preferably in a church or large venue setting.
● Proficiency with a wide range of audio equipment, including mixers, microphones, anddigital audio interfaces.
● Strong understanding of sound reinforcement and audio signal flow.
● Ability to work with both analog and digital audio systems.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
● A passion for ministry and a commitment to enhancing the worship experience throughaudio excellence.
Preferred Skills:
● Degree in Audio Engineering or 3-5 years in relevant industry experience.
● Experience with live streaming and recording setups.
● Familiarity with industry-standard audio software and hardware.
