Assistant Project Manager – Construction (Large-Scale Vertical Projects)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team and work on large-scale, complex vertical building projects. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are eager to take on responsibility, grow their careers, and develop into Project Managers . You will collaborate closely with a variety of teams within a fast-paced construction environment, managing critical project functions and contributing to the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities: As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with the Project Management team on various tasks, including:

• Supporting subcontractor and supplier buyouts, procurement, and management.
• Assisting with the project closeout documentation process.
• Managing the submittal and RFI processes.
• Evaluating RFPs and soliciting pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Overseeing Owner and Subcontractor Change Orders.
• Resolving project-related issues in a timely manner.
• Tracking and ensuring the timely procurement of materials.

Qualifications:

• Education: BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred, but not required).
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in the construction industry, with exposure to project management tasks.
• Skills: Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A Team Player: A collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
