This is a full time, hybrid role with our office in New York City. This position does require 3 days in office and 2 days that can be completed remotely from home. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000   per year.  

Who We Are Looking For:

We’re seeking a highly creative, energetic, and positive Artist/Designer with a strong point of view and a love for adorable characters, fun prints, joyful typography and playful design. Extra points if you’ve worked in childrenswear! You will be responsible for developing seasonal all-over prints and placed graphics, trend research, and supporting the visual identity of our children's apparel collections (newborn through toddler).

If you’re a skilled illustrator with a sharp eye for color, layout, and pattern—and you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment—this could be the perfect role for you!  

What You'll Do:
  • Support the team with trend research and concept development for each season.
  • Build and present seasonal color palettes with a strong sense of color harmony and coordination.
  • Develop all-over prints and placed graphics for baby and toddler apparel, bedding, accessories + more
  • Ensure all artwork is handed off production ready
  • Collaborate with designers, assistant designers, and product managers to bring collections to life.
  • Maintain a high level of creativity while ensuring fast turnaround and excellent attention to detail.
Who You Are:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in textile art/design, surface pattern art/design, or graphic apparel design
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Exceptionally skilled in illustration, color theory, and textile design
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives under deadlines and multitasks with ease
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Brings a strong understanding of design trends and knows what’s appealing to babies, toddlers, and parents
  • Organized, collaborative, and enthusiastic about delivering joyful, brand-right design
  • Experience in children's apparel or a related design field
  • Passion for cute, clever, and expressive artwork
  • Familiarity with textile printing techniques and fabric considerations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
