This position is about 80% remote (work from home) and 20% in-person. Since we meet in-person with each other once a week, this role is only for those who live in the Houston area .

Responsibilities

Depending on your skills and interests, responsibilities may include:

  • Accounting. Invoicing, reconciliation, and light bookkeeping.
  • Project management. Progress reports, schedules, data entry.
  • Sales. Assist building quotes, proposals, and reports.
  • HR. Goal and OKR tracking, recruiting, building training materials.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • We're an IT company, so you have to love technology and your technical skills need to be sharp. You should know the Microsoft 365 ecosystem: Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to type minimum of 50 wpm.
  • Writing skills must be spectacular - if you struggle with diction and grammar, this position is not for you.
  • Extremely detail oriented, must be a spectacular proofreader and excellent with numbers.
  • Reliable, on-time, trustworthy, and personable.
  • Self-managed and always productive. We don't have time to micromanage.
  • Desire to learn, both independently and through collaboration.
